Writer • Musician • Linguist

I write narrative nonfiction and speculative fiction about power, belief, and the unintended consequences of well-designed systems.

A Light Camping Trip is my current nonfiction manuscript, drawn from my time embedded with a CIA team in Yemen as an Arabic linguist during the first drone strike outside Afghanistan. The book explores how modern conflict is experienced from the inside, and how proximity alters meaning. It has been cleared by the CIA’s Prepublication Review Board and is currently under submission.

I’m also working on a near-future science fiction series. The first novel, Original Flavor, uses dark satire to explore corporate control, food, and the fragile boundary between consumption and compliance.

When I’m not writing, I work in tech/AI, produce music, and occasionally shoot photos.

This site hosts selections from my work and updates on current projects.
